Ava and her parents are the bomb.com
Some folks got together to celebrate Ava turning the big uno this past weekend. I know, I know, it's a big step in life. (haha I'm pretty sure all Ava cared about was stuffing her face into her cake and feeling a sugar rush for the first time. GLORIOUS.)
It was like a thousand pastel rainbows (mostly pink, though) and the perfect afternoon sunlight when shooting this cute little easter-themed birthday party.
So, pretty much like heaven.

Aside from the natural light and color, this family is just grand. Okay, I realize I am always talking about how awesome families are, but there is just something about looking at photographs of people who have spent years and years together and love each other that makes me super happy, and this family is no different.

Let's take a look inside sweet, precious, adorable, etc etc etc little Ava and her rockin' family.

So, what exactly goes down at a one-year-old birthday party? 

Well, we swung on swings, 

we took LOTS of pictures, 

we ate great food and marveled at the last year of Ava's little life that has flown by,

we stuffed our faces with birthday cake and milk from bottles,

we played with friends and family,

and lastly, we opened presents and played with new toys. Fitting!
