A Southern Homecoming

It all began a few months ago when a girl flew across the pond to do what smart people do in England: write really long papers. Okay, it's way more than that. Kayla Beth came home from studying and writing a really long paper at Oxford (who does that?!). Yea, she's pretty awesome. You can read her blog about her experience in England by clicking here. In fact, you may remember me doing a blog post on here about her a while back. (click here for that).

Kayla Beth came home on Sunday, and I was able to head up to Tellico Plains, Tn, a tiny dot on the map where she's from, to celebrate her homecoming at her parent's house with all her friends and family. It was so fun to capture the moments of seeing those she loved for the first time, as well as how us Southern folk really have a cookout. Lots of food, lots of pinching of babies cheeks, and obviously sweet tea in mason jars.

Welcome home, KB!
