A Southern Homecoming

It all began a few months ago when a girl flew across the pond to do what smart people do in England: write really long papers. Okay, it's way more than that. Kayla Beth came home from studying and writing a really long paper at Oxford (who does that?!). Yea, she's pretty awesome. You can read her blog about her experience in England by clicking here. In fact, you may remember me doing a blog post on here about her a while back. (click here for that).

Kayla Beth came home on Sunday, and I was able to head up to Tellico Plains, Tn, a tiny dot on the map where she's from, to celebrate her homecoming at her parent's house with all her friends and family. It was so fun to capture the moments of seeing those she loved for the first time, as well as how us Southern folk really have a cookout. Lots of food, lots of pinching of babies cheeks, and obviously sweet tea in mason jars.

Welcome home, KB!

Jeremy+Melissa...last post!

Here are the fun pictures you've all been waiting for! This wedding was an absolute blast, and I hope that these pictures will remind those that were there of what a beautiful time it was, and those that weren't, I hope you all can get a true idea of what it was like. Enjoy!

PS: If you're wondering where all the gazillion other pictures are that I took (like all the grouped family shots!), and would like to see them, I'll be giving Jeremy and Missy a CD with all gazillion of them sometime this week. They will have the opportunity to either print them off themselves or order prints from me. If you see any here that you want to directly order from me, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail! hayeska90@yahoo.com

Have a great week!

xoxo

Jeremy+Melissa...part uno

I admit, I take a lot of pictures way more pictures than anyone in their right mind would want to sift through. This being the reason I have divided Jeremy and Melissa Overbay's wedding into multiple parts. There are just too many pictures that I want to put on here to make it into one post! Besides, it keeps you on your toes coming back for more (ha, I wish).

As far as the wedding goes, it was beyond a joy for me to be able to be their photographer. I felt so honored to be a part of their big day, as well as the ones leading up to it, and can't thank them, their friends, and families enough for their laid-back, fun-loving attitudes even in the midst of the scorching hot sun at 1pm!  Jeremy and Melissa, I hope you're enjoying the awesome days on your honeymoon wherever in the world you may be ;)
